Shipping Information
Delivery Times
Delivery of your lamp may take 15–25 days, depending on your location. A few specialty and handmade lamps will require up to eight weeks for delivery, but these cases will be discussed on the product page. To make things easy for you, we offer free international shipping to Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe with included tracking on all orders. While Sphere and Stem is headquartered in California, USA, some of our lamps will be shipped from overseas warehouses, increasing delivery time.
We want to be upfront about why shipping may take some time:
- Handcrafted lamps: Many of our lamps are handmade to ensure quality and detail.
- Unique Products: Some of our lamps are rare, and we’re proud to be among the few retailers offering them in North America.
- Global Warehouses: Most of our warehouses are located overseas, which helps us keep prices affordable while maintaining excellent quality.
All orders are processed within two business days of receipt. This means that the order has been submitted to the warehouse. Once your mushroom lamp is crafted, packaged, and shipped, we’ll send you a tracking number so you can follow its journey to your doorstep. Due to our use of international shipping carriers, we recommend tracking your order using the "Order Tracking" tab on the menu at the top of your screen.
Potential Delays and Customs
While we strive for timely delivery, please note that some factors are outside our control. Delays may occur due to:
- Customs inspections
- Increased demand during holidays
Additionally, to reduce the risk of customs fees, orders with multiple items may be shipped in separate packages. This means your items could arrive at different times. If your entire order doesn’t arrive at once, don’t be concerned—the remaining items will be on their way soon.
Note that the purchase price on Sphere and Stem covers the item and shipping fees, but does not cover customs fees, import duties, etc., that may be incurred by importing your product. All customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. If you receive a customs fee notice, please reach out to your local customs office for further clarification.

Note to American Customers: Please note that as of 2/4/25 tariffs are imposed on all imports from China. Your package may be subject to additional customs inspections, delaying delivery. As well, your package may be subject to customs fees, taxes, import duties, or otherwise that are associated with importing the product. All such fees are the responsibility of the buyer; the purchase price at Sphere and Stem covers the item and shipping only.
Further, on 3/13/2025 the United States Postal Service announced plans to lay off 100,000 employees. Customers in the United States should anticipate delays in deliveries.
Shipping Disclaimer
At Sphere and Stem, we quality-check every lamp before it leaves our warehouse to ensure it’s in perfect condition.
- We are responsible for your lamp until it is delivered to your address. If your package is lost or misdelivered by our shipping partners, we’ll work with them to resolve the issue.
- Important: Sphere and Stem is not responsible for packages misdelivered due to incorrect addresses provided during checkout. Please double-check your address before completing your order.
